About The Event
Join us for a special screening of Us, Our Pets and the War, a moving documentary by acclaimed Ukrainian filmmaker Anton Ptushkin. This film highlights the extraordinary stories of people and their pets during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
As russia’s full-scale aggression forced millions to flee their homes, many risked their lives not only to save themselves, but also to rescue and protect animals — both their own and countless abandoned pets. From dogs and cats to bears, lions, chameleons, and lemurs, the film captures the scope of compassion and courage shown by ordinary people in the face of devastation.
🎤 Don’t miss the live Q&A with Anton Ptushkin right after the screening!
